Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Whether you are a scientist, geologist or Gold Prospector, you can use this set of Professional-grade Standard classifying sieves. These sieves will help you to classify (sort) the gold that you find into different size categories. Classifying your gold through different sizes will allow you to separate the larger pieces of gold, and collect the finer gold in a different size sieve.
This is a set of 10 sieves of various size openings that have been manufactured to very precise standards. The screens are made of metal (9 are brass & 1 is stainless steel). Each sieve has an identification plates. The size numbers are #4, #6, #8, #10, #16, #40, #70, #200, 1/4 inch, and 3/4 inch. This set also includes a water collection disk that has a water drain plug & plastic hose to control water drainage.
I am moving to S.C. on Sept. 5, 2008. I do not want to pay to ship this back east. So, call Steve @ 303-758-1285 for directions to come & buy these sieves. An eight (8) set of 8 inch brass sieves retails for $300 - $400 new. I'll give you a great deal at $80.00 If I don’t sell them before I leave, I guess I will just donate them to ARC.
